Ten things I did in 2010

1. Graduated with a good grade. Worked hard for it and got it, great feeling.

2. Went to Paris and Italy with Katie (it's just a new name I have given her, it's the same gf). Two of the most romantic places to go?

3. Summer holiday with family. Like for once a complete family, everyone is present. Something that hasn't happened for a long time. Went to Vienna, Prague and Budapest.

4. Went through one of the worst 2-3 months of my life. Doubting myself everyday, depressed. It was like living on the streets, not knowing what will happen tomorrow.

5. But well got over the few months when I found a job. A job that not everybody approves of (yes it is perfectly legit!) but I do enjoy my work. How many people can say they enjoy their work? ;)

6. Re-joined the gym!

7. Finally bought a new phone that I have gotten so reliant on that I would be so lost without it. Everything is on it. It has made life easier.

8. Got my very own credit card! (But this is quite pathetic really if I tell you the credit limit).

9. Move houses 3 times! And may I add within few months. I am finally settled now but I am considering moving again. Sigh.. Moving ain't fun.

10. Struggled with this one.. But I have moved to London !!! It is so much more better than Manchester.. ;)

Human Behaviour

Last week I bought an ink cartridge off Ebay for £12.59. I usually do scout around but this time I forgot, so later on I found out it is selling for £11.15 on Amazon. Well I wasn't too upset or anything, it was only about £1 plus.

Then I tried something. I listed the 20 ink cartridges on Ebay for £11.89 for sale. But of course I didn't have 20 cartridges to sell. So if anybody does buy I intend to buy it on Amazon and enter the buyer's delivery address. So I don't need to do anything at all. No reselling involve.

Not much risk either. Except the paranoid me did check the Amazon website every couple of hours in case the prices goes above £11.89.

Anyway to those unfamiliar to Ebay, there are two ways to sell. 'Buy it now' or 'to bid'. I first listed it as a buy it now thinking it should appeal to more people, instant notification of knowing the item is yours, fixed price etc. Then 2 days later I only had one buyer.

Very disappointed I only made less than a pound so far. I listed a same listing with the same wording but to be 'bid'. It starts at £0.99 and lasts for a day. The listing just ended a couple of hours ago, it was sold for £12.  I know its only £0.11 difference. But why would anyone do that? You gotta wait till the auction ends, you never know if you'll end up winning. Was it because they got hook on when they thought well maybe I could get it for £0.99 when they saw a low starting bid and totally forgot they could have just search for something that could be bought immediately with probably a lower price.

I should really start searching for items that are price differently across the web. Perhaps more interesting items rather than ink cartridges though. Something more expensive that would earn you more than a few quid.

What one sees as a mere action, another sees it as a strong connection.

You are what you are, if you say you're gonna fail you are.

If you say you lazy you are.

The sooner you accept the fact that you are in control of your life, the sooner you will be in control of it.
